<h2>Overview</h2>We are designing the grid of the future!  Design and develop electrical drawings for transmission and distribution substation protection projects, prepare equipment technical specifications, provide technical support and review of client’s design packages including drawings and specifications.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>How you can make an impact: <ul> <li>Prepare and review electrical drawings including single lines, three lines, relay logic drawings, relay DC schematics, breaker DC schematics, communication drawing, protection panel drawings, wiring block diagrams, DC panel drawings, and substation layouts.</li> <li>Prepare relay setting files for SEL, GE, etc. protective relays.</li> <li>Prepare generation interconnection drawings for conventional and renewable energy resources</li> <li>Prepare bill of material and design basis documents</li> <li>Prepare and review technical specification documents</li> <li>Process, generate and maintain data as required for other engineering-related work</li> <li>Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives</li> <li>Execute on multiple tasks at any given time.</li> <li>Perform complex tasks according to good engineering practice and EPE procedures.</li> <li>Capable of autonomously and independently executing on assigned tasks.</li> <li>Participate in multifunctional teams to obtain/provide input, address comments and perform technical studies.</li> <li>Identify training needs and present to the Engineering Manager.</li> <li>Perform other duties, as assigned.</li></ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:<ul> <li>Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with seven years of experience</li> <li>PE or PEng license, or ability to gain within six months of hire</li> <li>Have high standards in producing quality drawings and documents that he/she shall own with pride.</li> <li>Familiar in preparing relay setting files for SEL and GE relays.</li> <li>Familiar with SEL Quickset, SEL RTAC, GE Enervista UR Setup</li> <li>SCADA system design is a plus.</li> <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD for SLDs and three-line diagrams.
