This role is responsible for managing and scaling a high-performing outside and door-to-door (D2D) sales organization, driving consistent results across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in field sales leadership, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about building teams that execute at a high level.As the ION Home Services Director of Sales, you will own sales performance end-to-end—setting strategy, driving accountability, and ensuring execution against aggressive growth targets. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring frequent travel (2–3 weeks per month) to support teams in the field and maintain strong operational alignment. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and scale a team of outside and D2D sales representatives across multiple marketsOwn sales performance, including revenue targets, conversion rates, and overall efficiencyDevelop and execute sales strategies to drive consistent growth and market expansionEstablish clear performance expectations, track KPIs, and hold team members accountable to resultsManage to a defined budget, optimizing spend to maximize ROI and profitabilityRecruit, train, and develop top sales talent, building a strong leadership benchTravel 2–3 weeks per month to work directly with field teams, provide coaching, and ensure executionCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Leadership to align on goals and initiativesImplement systems and processes to improve sales productivity, reporting, and forecasting accuracyFoster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementQualifications5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong background in outside and/or D2D salesProven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teamsExperience managing to budgets, forecasts, and performance targetsStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesComfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environmentWillingness and ability to travel extensively (2–3 weeks per month)Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferredWage and BenefitsCompetitive compensation structure with a meaningful base salary and performance-driven commission (majority of total compensation tied to results)Health, vision, and dental insurancePaid Time Off and paid holidaysPaid Birthday offAccess to an on-site company salonCorporate ski passesQualifications#IND123
