If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p> </p><p>We are currently seeking a ‘Maintenance Team Lead, Mechanical’ who will be a member of the Stamping Maintenance Team and will be responsible for maintaining the equipment in the company’s world class greenfield stamping plant. You will lead a highly qualified team in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems on stamping presses and stamping equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and mentoring technicians to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency. Excellent attendance is crucial for teams to achieve success. You must have the ability to work with various teams in a fast-paced stamping environment. They will also be required to work with EHS, operation, engineering, quality, and suppliers in various aspects of the overall process. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Company and outside.</p><p>You will:</p><ul><li>Lead, motivate, and mentor the mechanical maintenance team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on stamping presses, robots, laser blanker line, scrap conveyors, cranes and other related machinery parks.</li><li>Conduct detailed inspections, diagnose mechanical system failures, and perform repairs on mechanical systems.</li><li>Rapidly respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes of mechanical malfunctions, and restore productivity in a timely manner.</li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA and other safety standards, promote a strong safety culture, and maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>Collaborate with production supervisors and team leaders to align maintenance efforts with production goals and ensure efficient workflow.</li><li>Train maintenance technicians and operators on mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and parts inventory.</li><li>Execute and document all preventive maintenance (PM) activities on assigned equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of robots, conveyors, tooling troubleshooting abilities, along with various other types of manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and other related theories, and concepts to allow for proper troubleshooting and problem analysis of their environment.</li><li>Welding, milling, and pipefitting knowledge.</li><li>Ability to read and understand Engineered drawings, schematics, SOP/BOM, and related material as well as follow exact instruction.</li><li>Support for all departments as required to maintain and sustain production needs.</li><li>Establish or adjust work schedules to meet production requirements.</li><li>Understand and enforce process compliance throughout the process areas scope of operations.</li><li>Ensures an adequate on-hand spare parts inventory or lead-time system in place to support.</li><li>Generate proper reports, RCA, and associated corrective measures on all incidents to proactively decrease the potential of future failures.</li><li>Works closely with all facets of the production group to provide technical expertise or assistance.</li><li>Be proficient in general office PC programs and equipment monitoring systems.</li></ul><p>You Bring:</p><ul><li>High school diploma: additional education or apprenticeship is a plus.</li><li>Journeyman card/trade school certificate preferred</li><li>+7 years of stamping maintenance experience, preferably with servo tandem line, laser blanker line, overhead cranes, milling machine operations.</li><li>Experience in Stamping Press line and/or complex manufacturing preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with maintenance, setting up, servo press machines, laser blanker and understanding optimal maintenance conditions.</li><li>Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs on complex stamping machinery parks.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, PLCs, and industrial electrical equipment.</li><li>Have strong leadership experience in Stamping maintenance area</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Experience with safety practices and machine maintenance.</li><li>Ability to adapt and troubleshoot in real-time to address production needs.</li><li>Ability to lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team effectively.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Computer proficiency for tasks such as data entry and potentially operating manufacturing software</li></ul><p>Work Environment:</p><ul><li>Exposure to mechanical equipment, vibration, and noise.</li><li>Physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.</li><li>Eye-hand coordination and strong visual abilities are essential.</li></ul><p> </p><div><div><p><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
