This role is ideal for recent graduates and students pursuing degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, physics, or related disciplines who are eager to gain hands-on experience in battery performance and reliability testing.   Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Set up and execute battery cell tests (incoming inspection, cycle life, capacity, etc.) </li></ul><ul><li>Operate battery cyclers, environmental chambers, and data acquisition systems </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor tests and log performance data with accuracy and attention to detail </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in failure analysis and teardown inspections </li></ul><ul><li>Perform basic data analysis and prepare reports or presentations </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with engineers to iterate on testing protocols and contribute to product validation </li></ul><ul><li>Follow lab safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace </li></ul> Minimum Qualifications  <ul><li>Undergraduate degree or currently pursuing a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field </li></ul><ul><li>Coursework or lab experience in electrochemistry, thermodynamics, materials, or energy systems preferred </li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with Python or MATLAB is a plus </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment </li></ul><ul><li>Enthusiasm for batteries, renewable energy, and hands-on technical work </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Data analysis automation and coding skills </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in electrical testing </li></ul> The pay rate for this role is $30/hour, with actual pay varying based on work location, experience, and skills.
