Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Senior Internal Auditor based in Glasgow. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Internal Control &amp; Audit, the Senior Internal Auditor will undertake audits in line with the Group Internal Audit plan. The role will involve regular senior management reporting. In addition, the Senior Internal Auditor will execute audit process improvement projects, share best practices and participate in special investigations as required.Power without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.               What you’ll do: <ul><li>Plan and execute risk-based audits primarily covering operational, technology and commercial areas in line with the Group Internal Audit Plan and on an ad hoc basis as required, including special investigations.</li><li>Prepare clear, concise audit reports for management, communicating findings and recommendations.</li><li>Follow-up and reporting of internal audit actions, liaising with the business to ensure timely updates for senior management and Audit Committee reporting.</li><li>Undertake projects to identify and implement best practices within internal audit and related assurance activities.</li><li>Contribute to the identification and communication of best practices within the Group.</li><li>Further the development of the integrated assurance approach.</li></ul>You are:<ul><li>A relevant post-degree qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA) and post-qualified industry experience in internal audit, assurance, compliance, or process re-engineering.</li><li>Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings, influence stakeholders at all levels, and work collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying risks, control weaknesses, and recommending improvements, alongside meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Experience working with second-line assurance functions (including cybersecurity), utilizing GRC tools, employing data analytics for audit efficiency, and aligning audit approaches with Global IA Standards.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of assignments, prioritize effectively, and willingness to travel globally as required.</li><li>Experience of working in Operations audits would be extremely beneficial.</li></ul>Here’s what you’ll get:<ul><li>The opportunity to travel regionally and work with our global stakeholder.</li></ul><ul><li>A competitive salary and benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance)   </li><li>Hybrid working   </li></ul><ul><li>Generous holiday entitlement, with option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell‘   </li></ul><ul><li>Discounts &amp; perks   </li></ul><ul><li>Access to our Employee Assistance Programme, which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyle  </li></ul>Our people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
