Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><div><ul><li>Lead and set the technical strategy for Application Engineering, ensuring alignment with business, product, and customer needs</li><li>Manage and develop a team of Application Engineers, driving technical excellence, product knowledge, and customer-focused execution</li><li>Support and lead product development initiatives, including applications in fluid power, sealing technologies, eMobility, and electrification</li><li>Serve as the technical expert for Fluid Power Industry products, identifying opportunities where Freudenberg solutions can replace competitor products</li><li>Partner closely with customers and internal teams (engineering, quality, program management, materials, and lead centers) to support applications, resolve issues, and drive solutions</li><li>Oversee technical problem resolution, including warranty analysis, field investigations, teardowns, corrective actions, and quality improvements</li><li>Deliver technical training and value-based product presentations to internal teams and customers while supporting strategic account plans</li></ul></div><h1>Qualifications:</h1><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, or related technical discipline)</li><li>5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience with sealing technologies, hydraulics, fluid power products, or related industrial applications preferred</li><li>Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple priorities in a customer-facing environment</li><li>Strong technical communication skills, including experience presenting product features, material knowledge, and application solutions</li><li>Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or UG NX and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Experience in technical training, value engineering, technical sales support, or project management is a plus</li></ul></div>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
