These systems play an important role in ensuring reliable operation, high energy efficiency, and long-term value for our customers - from machine level to cloud connectivity.In this role, you will collaborate closely with product owners, system engineers, and test engineers, contributing across the full development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture to implementation, verification, and deployment. The role also includes hands-on work in our lab, as well as occasional visits to customer sites to better understand real-world applications.While this is not a managerial role, you will have the opportunity to act as a technical mentor, contribute to best practices, and participate in technical discussions that help shape the direction of the team.You will be part of a collaborative team where knowledge sharing and continuous learning are valued.Key Responsibilties:<ul><li>Design, develop and maintain embedded software for control systems in our products</li><li>Contribute to software architecture, technical decisions and long‑term maintainability</li><li>Develop robust and testable solutions using modern embedded software practices</li><li>Collaborate cross‑functionally with product owners, test engineers and other R&amp;D teams</li><li>Drive continuous improvements in ways of working, tools and code quality</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in embedded software development using C / C++</li><li>Experience working with real-time operating systems (e.g., Zephyr or similar)</li><li>Understanding of software architecture and design for embedded systems</li><li>Experience with unit testing, static code analysis, and quality-focused development practices</li><li>Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience</li><li>Good communication skills in English</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Swedish is considered a plus</li></ul>Personal ProfileWe believe you bring a curious mindset and enjoy working with complex technical challenges.
