As a delivery driver, you are the customer-facing liaison between our fulfillment centers and our valued customers. In this role, you will be directly responsible for delivering the customers’ boxes to the correct address, during the correct time window, and in pristine condition. This includes but is not limited to: wearing your seatbelt when the vehicle is in motion, safely exiting and entering the flow of traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and using proper lifting form. </li><li>Lead team during pre-shift meetings and covering important company topics like safety etc.</li><li>Lead team during the load out process ensuring safe and efficient operations.</li><li>Help on-board new drivers and training to company standards.</li><li>Conduct quarterly driver observations ensuring the drivers and market are meeting company standards.</li><li>With professionalism and care, delivers customer orders directly to their doorstep, verifying delivery in our routing app. </li><li>Safely navigates varying weather conditions and hazards throughout the duration of your shift, both inside and outside the vehicle. </li><li>Uses proper lifting form to safely load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, each weighing up to 50lbs.</li><li>Supports our Packaging Return Program by picking up and documenting customer recycling. </li><li>Supports the overall delivery volume, which may include helping other drivers complete their routes or working overtime as-needed. </li></ul>What you have:<ul><li>Authorized to work in the United States.</li><li>Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 2 years</li><li>Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.</li><li>2 years of previous Delivery driving experience </li><li>Comfortable operating a delivery van in all types of weather conditions</li><li>Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation</li><li>Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation</li></ul>Nice for you to have:<ul><li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)</li><li>Experience working in a food based environment</li></ul>Please see here for Misfits Market's <a href="https://www.misfitsmarket.com/careers-privacy">Job Applicant Privacy Notice</a>.
