The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.<ul><li>The position available offers a mix of FIFO and Perth based work; FIFO will take you up to the Pilbara on either a 2/2 or 8/6 roster.</li><li>Excellent base rates with generous site allowances payable - weekly pay. </li><li>12m max term contract with options.</li><li>Immediate start.</li><li>Supportive work environment with strong leadership.</li><li>Strong team culture built on trust and accountability.</li><li>Training, upskilling and career development opportunities.</li></ul>Key responsibilities:As an electrician you will be working to execute wayside and onboard electrical installations. You will work closely with the Signalling Electrical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work is undertaken to a high standard.<ul><li>Responsible for undertaking the physical construction activities.</li><li>Responsible for executing construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and drawings and functional construction documentation.</li><li>Support the Electrical, Mechanical team and subcontractors to deliver to the project plan.</li><li>Undertake all Electrical works, in accordance with the project delivery plan.</li><li>Comply with all Heath Safety &amp; Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives.</li></ul>Key attributes:<ul><li>Relevant Trade qualification.</li><li>Minimum 2 years in an electrical trades environment.</li><li>Commitment to implementing and maintaining Health &amp; Safety initiatives.</li><li>Outstanding planning and organisational skills.</li><li>Must be reliable, flexible, and a great team player.</li></ul>At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
