They are responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, supporting the sales team, and helping secure new business. This role plays a key part in ensuring profitability, pricing accuracy, and strong customer relationships.<br><br><b>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li><p>Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including material, labor, and overhead </p></li><li><p>Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements </p></li><li><p>Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and product availability </p></li><li><p>Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs), and project teams on bid strategy and pricing </p></li><li><p>Analyze project risks, opportunities, and margins to ensure competitive and profitable quotes </p></li><li><p>Follow up on submitted quotes to support conversion into orders </p></li><li><p>Manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment </p></li><li><p>Maintain organized documentation of all estimates, revisions, and communications </p></li><li><p>Assist with project handoff to project coordinators and ensure accuracy between estimate and execution </p></li></ul><p><br><b>REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><ul><li><p>2–5+ years of estimating experience (electrical, construction, or related industry preferred) </p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications </p></li><li><p>Excellent analytical and mathematical skills </p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and accuracy </p></li><li><p>Strong communication and teamwork skills </p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines </p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Excel </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>KEY COMPETENCIES:</b></p><ul><li><p>Strong sense of urgency and accountability </p></li><li><p>Commercial awareness and pricing discipline </p></li><li><p>Problem-solving mindset </p></li><li><p>Ability to work collaboratively across departments </p></li><li><p>Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence </p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p></p><h1><b>What’s in it for you</b></h1><p>We are a major player, involved in the energy transformation in Canada.
