As a Implementation Consultant - Carbon Accounting (internally titled as Solution Architect) at Workiva, you will be a key partner in supporting clients' sustainability journeys. Your expertise in sustainability best practices and the Workiva platform will enable you to provide exceptional service and deliver high-quality sustainability reporting and consulting services. You will guide clients of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to smaller organizations, through the implementation of our software to help them achieve their sustainability goals. What You'll Do<ul><li>Advise clients on establishing effective programs to calculate Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3)</li><li>Support clients in developing emission reduction programs that align with major frameworks and standards (CDP, GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS, ASRS, ESRS)</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance to clients throughout their sustainability journey</li><li>Champion client success by implementing Workiva's solutions and ensuring projects meet scope, deadlines, and client objectives.</li><li>Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, sharing knowledge through training materials and potentially delivering training sessions</li><li>Uphold Workiva's high standards by providing exceptional service and promptly addressing client needs</li><li>Support presales by demonstrating product features, benefits, and tailored solutions to potential customers.</li></ul> What You'll NeedMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 4 years experience in software implementation, with a specific focus on sustainability.</li><li>Strong understanding of sustainability practices, including carbon emissions accounting (Greenhouse Gas Protocol)</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Expertise in environmental impact accounting beyond emissions (e.g., product life cycle analysis, water footprinting)</li><li>Experience developing and verifying corporate GHG inventories.</li><li>Knowledge of science-based target setting (SBTi)</li><li>Experience with consulting and a proven track record of delivering results for external clients</li><li>Proven project management skills with the ability to stay on track and meet deadlines</li><li>Expertise in data analysis and creating compelling data visualizations</li><li>Experience configuring software solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in financial analysis</li><li>Fluency in data tools beyond Excel (R, Tableau, Power BI)</li></ul> Travel Requirements And Working Conditions<ul><li>Up to 25% Travel for customer and internal meetings</li><li>Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office</li></ul><div>Workiva is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.  We believe that great minds think differently.  We value diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and interests, and we recognize diversity as an important source of intellectual thought, varied perspective, and innovation.  Employment decisions are made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other protected characteristic.  Workiva is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities.
