AECOM's Buildings + Places Structural Engineering team in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join the team!  This is a wonderful growth opportunity for hands-on experience and mentorship from a team of Engineers and Project Managers.  This team works on a mix of Federal and non-Federal projects across the US and the globe.  We work on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office with the team and 2 days remote.This job is available immediately.In this role, the Entry-Level Structural Engineer:• Builds analytic and design skills. • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
