We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.</span></div><div><span> </span></div><div><b><span>Summary:<span>  </span></span></b></div><div><span>The Superintendent - Electrical – Solar is responsible for coordinating the site electrical construction schedule, execution plan, and managing the daily issues involved during the construction of solar generation project. This position coordinates all electrical site construction activities and supervises all electrical field personnel as required to successfully complete the solar project on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent - Electrical - Solar works diligently to build a safe, high quality, profitable solar project.<br /><br /></span></div><div><b><span>Requirements:<span>    </span></span></b></div><div><span>Supervising and managing:</span></div><ul><li><span>Oversees all on-site electrical construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. </span></li><li><span>Manages the project craft plan, participates in the project kick off.</span></li><li><span>Reviews project craft requirements and work plans with General Superintendent and Project Superintendent to ensure alignment with the other projects and the project schedule.<span>  </span></span></li></ul><div><span>Project Planning and Monitoring:</span></div><ul><li><span>Monitors project progress, identifies potential issues, and implements solutions to keep project on track and within financial constraints. </span></li><li><span>Supports Project Superintendent with the initial planning for a project and review during the project.</span></li><li><span>Ensures proper page turn, drawing reviews, and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) template reviews are completed prior to work commencing.</span></li></ul><div><span>Safety, Quality and Environmental responsibilities:</span></div><ul><li><span>Implements and maintains safety standards, conducting regular site inspections, and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations.</span></li><li><span>Utilizes Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality Managements Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and technical procedures.</span></li></ul><div><span>Coordinating with stakeholders:</span></div><ul><li><span>Communicates with Project Managers, Project Superintendents, General Superintendents and other Discipline Superintendents to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any conflicts. </span></li></ul><div><span>Workforce Management:</span></div><ul><li><span>Hires and trains all Foreman and craft labor.</span></li><li><span>Ensures that all craft personnel within their group, have completed all required training and are competent prior to starting work.</span></li><li><span>Ensures that all electrical personnel are qualified under the QEW scheme prior to carrying out any terminations or electrical activities. </span></li><li><span>Guides, and coaches Foremen to ensure activities on site are understood and following established processes through quality checks.</span></li><li><span>Aligns individual and team objectives to department and company objectives. </span></li><li><span>Manages and supports employee development and growth. </span></li><li><span>Provides regular and direct feedback on performance and goal progress. </span></li><li><span>Provides a positive and engaging work environment.</span></li><li><span>Ensures that all personnel within their discipline have all required training including safety, SWI, technical and operations.</span></li><li><span>Aligns with client and company quality program(s).</span></li></ul><div><span>Work Standardization:</span></div><ul><li><span>Utilizes SWIs for execution of all tasks within their Discipline to achieve and maintain standard operations across the site.</span></li><li><span>Provide feedback to Project Superintendent and General Superintendent about improvements to the SWIs based on their experience on site.</span></li><li><span>Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.</span></li><li><span>Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies &amp;
