The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects (typically &lt; €5 million) in the capacity of a Professional Project Manager. This role holds full accountability for the execution of projects, from the initial quotation phase through to commissioning, handover, and project close-out. The position is also responsible for the overall financial performance and results of the project, ensuring the best possible outcome for GEA.Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Foster a strong culture of ownership within the project team to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.</li><li>Plan, monitor, and maintain project schedules, including tracking progress, man-hour estimates, and margin targets.</li><li>Provide regular updates on project progress to multiple stakeholders, including internal Project Review Meetings and customers.</li><li>Ensure all project activities are coordinated and executed in accordance with GEA’s standard practices and procedures, while meeting customer expectations as far as commercially feasible.</li><li>Deliver projects in line with agreed scope, cost, quality, and schedule, ensuring completion within budget.</li><li>Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout project execution.</li><li>Oversee site activities to ensure alignment with project planning and full compliance with Health &amp; Safety requirements at all times.</li><li>Attend client meetings on-site to support commissioning of GEA-supplied equipment and achievement of all KPIs.</li><li>Manage claims and change orders effectively.</li><li>Ensure strong integration and alignment across all project stakeholders.</li><li>Perform risk management activities to identify, mitigate, and minimize project risks.</li><li>Capture, document, and evaluate lessons learned from each project.</li><li>Develop procurement plans in collaboration with the supply chain to align fabrication and component delivery with project timelines.</li><li>Lead a small team of project engineers (without direct line management responsibility).</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Degree in Engineering.</li><li>Experience within manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, or chemical environments.</li><li>Relevant project management qualification is preferred.</li><li>Strong application of project management methodologies and commercial project management skills.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a commercial project manager.</li><li>Knowledge of legal and contractual aspects of project execution.</li><li>Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
