Join us in shaping the future of energy. Job Summary:The Asset Management Associate will support the Asset Management team with development and implementation of commercial strategies, analytical support of projects under development, coordination of asset optimization projects, tracking profitability of the asset, contract understanding, landowner relationships, and general overall operational purview.The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support the ERCOT Asset Management team in maintaining our growing portfolio of renewable energy assets, which includes wind, solar, and battery storage technologies.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve and implement business processes that will enhance the operational effectiveness of our assets.</li><li>Develop a comprehensive understanding of our contracts, including power purchase agreements and operational agreements, to ensure seamless business operations and strengthen landowner relationships.</li><li>Perform detailed data analysis using tools like Excel to evaluate project performance and derive actionable insights for business decisions and strategic planning.</li><li>Engage in regular market research to stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the renewable energy industry.</li><li>Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned, gaining exposure to various aspects of the renewable energy industry.</li><li>Perform high level site evaluations to identify potential risks to production</li><li>Interact with various stakeholders ensuring contractual compliance</li><li>Provide general support to ensure smooth operations of the Asset Management team.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must be authorized to work for any US employer, without the need for work visa sponsorship now or in the future.</li><li>A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>2-5 year’s previous experience in the renewable industry in a supporting role to any of the following fields: accounting, asset management, contract management, land management, asset operations, or ISO/market operations.  Experience in a similar role would be an added advantage.</li><li>Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and other tasks.  Knowledge of Python and Power BI a plus</li><li>Proven commercial acuity with a firm grasp of business principles, contract comprehension, and relationship management.</li><li>Possess strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill complex issues and articulate clear solutions.</li><li>A passionate commitment to advancing the adoption and deployment of renewable energy solutions across North America.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally</li><li>Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy</li></ul> Repsol is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran
