Start here. Grow here.We are seeking a Site Technician to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality survey services. The role involves conducting visual condition surveys and inspections, primarily on roads, to support infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.The role is based from our Nottingham office. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct accurate and detailed condition surveys on roads and other infrastructure.</li><li>Ensure all survey data is collected and recorded in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.</li><li>Operate and maintain survey equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Drive to and from survey locations, ensuring timely and efficient travel.</li><li>Tow trailers and transport equipment safely and in accordance with legal requirements.</li><li>Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Collecting survey data on handheld devices.</li><li>Undertake asset data collection surveys employing GPS enabled handheld devices.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey results meet project objectives.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Primarily site-based, with outdoor work in varying weather conditions</li><li>Some projects require working away Monday–Friday</li><li>Occasional night shifts required (paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate)</li></ul>Why Join AECOM?<ul><li>Opportunity to work on nationally significant infrastructure projects.</li><li>Supportive and safety-focused team culture.</li><li>Continuous professional development and training opportunities.</li><li>Competitive compensation and travel allowances.</li></ul>And let's not forget about the perks at AECOM.
