<p>Reporting to the Technical Manager Wind, the Project Engineer Wind will be responsible for the following activities:</p><ul><li>Lead the development of the project on all technical aspects, interfacing with Business Development, other Statkraft departments, consultants and service providers.</li><li>Prepare and/or verify and validate the technical documentation along the project value chain, from early development until start of operation of the wind farm.</li><li>Manage documentation on plant design, focus on civil engineering</li><li>Organize and manage site investigation with a specific focus on topographic and geotechnical survey.</li><li>Participate in interactions with consultants, partners, and suppliers to ensure best market knowledge</li><li>Manage contracts with external service providers and consultants, ensuring the scope of work is consistent and all applicable rules and regulations (safety, security, etc) are correctly implemented</li><li>Participate on the definition of concept design and lead the technical decision process to identify the best design solution, including site visits and meetings with other project team members</li><li>Interact actively with other peers in the Southern Area region to work in a uniform way and support, when needed, the other Countries of the Area.</li><li>Check quality and technical specifications for tenders</li><li>Support Project Manager and Contract manager in preparing RfP package to start procurement process in the construction phase</li><li>Follow up and validate design documentation for permitting and during construction</li><li>Support other units in Statkraft as required: Development, Wind Assessment, Construction, Central Engineering.</li></ul>
