Reporting directly to and working closely with the Energy Business Director, you will be a key member of the Energy leadership team for the UK and Ireland region.In this role, you will lead and manage the T&amp;D practice, with a specific focus on project delivery, resource management, work winning, and people management and engagement. As a leader you are responsible for fostering a culture of success, engagement, and development within the team while ensuring the successful management of projects from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead, manage and grow our incredible T&amp;D practice team for the UK&amp;I region.</li><li>Drive project delivery excellence, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and with high quality results.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and technical experts to allocate resources effectively and optimise project performance.</li><li>Work with the Environment &amp; Energy Client and Sector teams to develop and implement a growth plan aligned to the Strategic Plan.</li><li> Identify and engage with key stakeholders for client projects, establishing effective engagement strategies to ensure resources are available for projects.</li><li> Champion a proactive approach to work winning by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and participating in proposal development.</li><li>Drive a culture where AECOM is recognised as a great place to work, promoting staff engagement and retention.</li><li>Foster career development and develop succession plans for key positions within the renewables Practice.</li><li>Attract new talent and lead strategic and senior recruitment.</li><li>Monitor and manage the financial performance of the renewables practice against key metrics, including Gross Margin, utilisation, bookings, and future workload.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to delivery multi-disciplinary projects and programs, showcasing our excellence in work winning.</li><li>Oversee project management from prepositioning and proposal development to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high-quality results.</li><li>Drive change programs to increase efficiency, profitability, and operational quality within the team.</li><li>Identify and secure new business opportunities while ensuring client satisfaction with AECOM's performance.</li><li>Champion equity, diversity, and inclusion, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.</li><li>Uphold AECOM's values and promote staff engagement and continuous development.</li></ul>
