Experience in waste, recycling, logistics, or environmental services is a plus — but a consultative sales mindset and genuine curiosity about waste diversion are what matter most.Requirements The Waste and Recycling Sales Rep will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:1. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers2. Conduct presentations and cold calls to generate new business3. Increase in gross margin through effective sales strategies4. Utilize lead-generation techniques to identify potential customers5. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions6. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals7. Maintain a strong team player attitude and motivation to achieve sales targets  Solid base plus commission!  The ideal candidate for the Waste and Recycling Sales Rep position should possess the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required)2. Proven track record of successful sales experience3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team5. Strong organizational and time management skills6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment7. Knowledge of waste and recycling services is a plus8. 3 years of sales experience (preferred)9. Results-driven with a proven track record of increasing gross margin10. Strong lead-generation experience11. Salesforce or other CRM experience12. Computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite13. Strong interpersonal communication skills and techniques14. Project a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance15.
