<div> <div>About the role BURN is looking for an IT Officer is responsible for managing and supporting the information technology infrastructure. This includes maintaining hardware and software systems, ensuring network security, providing technical support to staff, and implementing IT policies and procedures.  The IT Officer will play a key role in troubleshooting technical issues, managing data backups, and staying current with technological advancements to ensure the organization's systems are efficient and secure. Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li style="margin-bottom:2px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Administration of the active directory - Creating, and modifying user accounts, groups, computer accounts, organizational units (OUs), and other objects in the directory service database. </li><li style="margin-bottom:2px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Administration of office 365 platform – SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, PowerApps </li><li style="margin-bottom:5px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.  </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems within the network and its hardware, software, and computer systems.  </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Assist in maintaining IT inventory for all IT assets within the organization and conducting regular preventive maintenance on all IT assets and logging the same.  </li><li style="margin-bottom:5px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Preparing regular reports on IT support issues, maintenance logs, and any other relevant report that may be asked by the supervisor.  </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users.  </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Monitoring network, firewall, and computer systems to ensure 99.9% uptime, security &amp; improved performance.  </li><li style="margin-bottom:5px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Provide user support in setting up &amp; conducting end-user training for all relevant IT platforms.  </li><li style="margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.  </li></ul> Skills and Experience<ul><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Proven experience as an IT Officer or a similar role, with a minimum of 1year of relevant experience. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Strong technical knowledge of IT hardware, Active Directory, 0365, networks, operating systems, and software applications.</li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Proficiency in IT support and troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Prioritization &amp; organization of work to ensure timely completion of tasks. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices, with hands-on experience in implementing security measures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Certifications such as ITIL are highly desirable. </li><li style="margin-bottom:6px;margin-left:26px;text-align:justify;">Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.</li></ul>                                                 Qualified Female Candidates encouraged to Apply BURN does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, processing, training, or any other fees).  </div>   </div>
