Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.<br><br>The CAD Technician will be responsible for preparing detailed layout drawings and schematic diagrams based on guidance from Construction Engineers, converting project concepts into accurate plans, calculating dimensions and quantities, analyzing sketches and notes to determine the best drafting approach, and ensuring all drawings meet engineering requirements, company standards, and project specifications.
