Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.<h2>Role Description</h2>The Data Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining common, cloud-based software and data infrastructure used across the company. This includes everything from our Snowflake data warehouse, to the K8s (EKS) clusters used to run our software, to the streaming platform that processes telemetry data from our product in the field. The team is also increasingly responsible for defining and executing on our AI platform roadmap. This role will work closely with lab, plant software, and field operations teams to help generate insights and expedite cycles of learning by improving access to data and building powerful internal applications and services.Relocation assistance is available. <h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Build upon our lab, factory, and field data pipelines to meet evolving user requirements while maintaining data quality and reliability</li><li>Build, review, and optimize data models/transformations in our data platform using tools like dbt and PySpark</li><li>Lead the development and maintenance of existing or new internal data applications</li><li>Work with our partner teams across Form to define and formalize key metrics used across R&amp;D, product engineering, and manufacturing</li><li>Work closely with other Software teams to ensure that data are consistent across sources downstream services. This will be in an environment where schema migrations are frequent for existing data sources, and new sources are regularly introduced</li><li>Act as a collaborative member of a distributed software engineering team; this includes participating in an on-call rotation</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>Minimum 8+ years of professional experience as a software or data engineer working on a production codebase</li><li>Excellent python and SQL skills; experience working with web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask, and data engineering libraries like dbt, Dagster, and PySpark</li><li>Fluent in git and familiar with common AWS services like S3, EC2, and RDS</li><li>Strong command of SDLC; experience preparing TDDs and/or RFCs desired</li><li>Experience working with OLAP and time series databases like Snowflake, Databricks DBSQL, Clickhouse, and/or InfluxDB</li><li>Working knowledge of electrochemistry and/or electrical systems is highly desired but not required</li><li>Curiosity, creativity, and tenacity when it comes to problem solving </li></ul>#LI-Onsite#LI-TR1Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
