AECOM is seeking an Estimator for immediate employment at our New York office. The Estimator reports to the Change Order/ Estimating  Manager and responsibilities include assisting and providing the documentation as below:Responsibilities are included but not limited to:<ul><li>Identify Change Orders with client’s Contract Services Unit.</li><li>Assist in scoping of Field Condition Change Orders.</li><li>Produce Engineer’s Estimates for Field Condition Change Orders.</li><li>Assemble Contract Change Request packages for scope approval.</li><li>Issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) via client EPMIS system.</li><li>Produce independent estimates for non-field condition Change Orders to check validity of Engineer-of-Record produced Engineer’s Estimates. </li><li>Reviews contractor’s estimates.</li><li>Act as the lead in the negotiation of Change Orders.</li><li>Package negotiation documents.</li><li>Respond to auditor questions/comments.</li><li>Update change order logs as process steps take place.</li><li>Attend monthly internal change order update meetings and monthly change order update meetings with Contractor(s).</li><li>Develops wage rate build-ups.</li><li>Reads and interprets drawings and specifications.</li><li>Develops detailed material take-offs for estimate development and field procurement of bulk materials.</li></ul>
