<div> About the role Burn is looking for a Junior Business Analyst who will support data-driven decision-making by analyzing IT expenditure, tracking cost trends, and developing dashboards to improve reporting and efficiency. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights on cost optimization, asset lifecycle management, and IT performance. Engagement type: 6 Month Contract Collaborates with: IT Operations, Finance, HR, Operations, Procurement Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Analyze IT expenditure data across departments and produce regular cost reports covering software licenses, IoT devices, cloud services, and hardware. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools to track IT spend trends, leveraging AI-assisted analytics where possible. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Conduct hardware asset lifecycle analysis, forecasting laptop and device replacement needs based on age, warranty status, and performance data. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Review and summarize Trend Micro security reports, identifying key risk areas and recommending actions for the IT Operations team. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support departmental budget planning by providing data-driven insights on IT cost optimization opportunities. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Develop standardized templates and processes for IT cost allocation and chargeback reporting to department heads. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Assist with software license compliance audits, tracking usage and identifying underutilized or redundant subscriptions. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Leverage AI tools to automate data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis tasks to improve reporting efficiency.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Prepare executive summaries and presentations on IT spending patterns and cost-saving recommendations for senior leadership.</li></ul> Skills and Experience<ul style="margin-bottom:30px;"><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, IT, or a related field.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or IT operations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools and willingness to adopt new technologies.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security concepts.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data to non technical audiences</li></ul>                                                 Qualified Female Candidates encouraged to Apply BURN does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, processing, training, or any other fees).     </div>
