Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The Senior Analyst / Manager, Finance will be part of Brookfield Infrastructure’s Global Finance team. Located in our head office in Downtown Toronto, this role is a highly visible position that provides a solid foundation and exposure to a progressive and dynamic career with a publicly-listed company with a long history as an owner and operator of real assets. The role will actively participate in the financial reporting and FP&amp;A work of the Infrastructure business and be directly involved in the reporting deliverables to Brookfield parent companies (BAM and BN). This role will also allow for leadership and mentoring opportunities to co-op students.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare platform level financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis to support parent companies’ consolidated financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP</li><li>Actively participate and lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues and the execution of regulatory updates, including the coordination with auditors and operating business groups</li><li>Present various analyses and reports for senior management, such as operating metrics and corporate financial results to support their business decision-making</li><li>Support internal and external audit teams in relation to quarterly reviews, the annual audit and SOX compliance</li><li>Assist in preparing financial forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis and be involved in presenting and communicating results to key stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate regularly with fund finance, tax, corporate, and regional finance teams</li><li>Mentor junior staff to aid in their development</li><li>Continuously look for efficiency in our processes, tools and reports and make suggestions to implement these into our framework</li><li>Assist as needed with due diligence related to refinancing, ad-hoc analyses and presentations on financial and operating results, investor queries and special projects</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>3-5 years of progressive work experience in an accounting or auditing function</li><li>Completed professional accounting designation (CPA)</li><li>Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills</li><li>Leadership and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to always support the team</li><li>Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development</li><li>Knowledge of HFM, OneStream, and Workiva would be an asset</li></ul>Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 CADPosition Opening Reason:New PositionBrookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.  Accordingly, we do not tolerate workplace discrimination, violence or harassment.Brookfield is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
