The role will be based from our Australian Support office in Canberra, ACT.About the RoleAs Retail Finance BP you will work closely with our Trek owned Retail Stores focusing on:<ul><li>Reporting and Forecasting;<ul><li>Own financial management for Trek owned Retail Stores including month-end close and balance sheet integrity</li><li>Timely and accurate monthly profit and loss balance sheet reporting</li><li>Maintain ownership of key balance sheets</li><li>Contribute to rolling forecasts and annual budgets</li></ul></li><li> Financial controls and Processes<ul><li>Ensure strong financial controls are embedded</li><li>Partner with Store Managers to resolve issues</li><li>Identify process improvement opportunities</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, audit and accounting standards</li></ul></li><li>Business Partnering and Support<ul><li> Be the primary finance partner to coach Retail Store Managers</li><li>Lead regular performance reviews with Store Manager</li><li>Proactively identify risks and opportunities across revenue, margin, labour, and operating costs</li></ul></li></ul>Why You’ll Love Working at Trek <ul><li>Join a Global Brand – It’s more than just a role; it’s about being part of something bigger. </li><li>Ride Our Bikes – We encourage our team to get on the bikes so you know our products.</li></ul>What We’re Looking For We are on the lookout for someone to join our team with:<ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in accounting</li><li>CA/CPA qualification (or desire to work towards this)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to deliver quality hospitality with proactive and positive communication</li><li>Collaborative team player, proactive problem solver and have highly developed analytical skills with the ability to extract data from financial systems and provide insights and recommendations</li><li>Strong MS office skills</li><li>Be curious and open to new ideas</li></ul>Ready to Ride with Us? If you’re driven, passionate, and ready to lead, we want YOU on our team.
