We invite you to do the best work of your life with us at Kate Farms. POSITION OVERVIEWIn this temporary position, the Community Marketing Intern will support the marketing team by contributing to mission-driven efforts that foster meaningful relationships with our community. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and compassionate, with a strong interest in community engagement and purpose-driven work. The intern will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate professionalism in communication, and be eager to learn while supporting cross-functional initiatives with care and attention to detail. This is a part-time internship (up to 30 hours per week) for Summer 2026, with an expectation of working onsite in the Goleta office three days per week. WHAT YOU WILL DO<ul><li>Support community initiatives through administrative and coordination support. </li><li>Create and maintain a current customer testimonial database. </li><li>Assist with in-office community gifting initiatives. </li><li>Support planning and execution of community events. </li><li>Provide support for Oley planning and coordination. </li><li>Assist with the execution of the July community giveaway. </li><li>Help ensure professionalism and consistency in community-facing communications.</li></ul>WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH<ul><li>A High School Diploma and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. </li><li>Proactive and collaborative with a strong willingness to learn and contribute.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.</li><li>A strong commitment to company mission and values.</li><li>The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>Ability to respectfully share and accept feedback willingly from all levels of the organization.</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
