In this role, you will lead front-end execution, manage the web development queue, and collaborate closely with our digital agency to ensure high-quality delivery of both front-end and AEM related development work.The ideal candidate brings strong Adobe Experience Manager experience, deep modern front-end expertise, and the ability to drive efficient, high-quality execution across multiple stakeholders. The Role<ul><li>Develop, test, debug, and maintain front-end code for HitachiVantara.com, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards.</li><li>Manage the web development queue, prioritizing and assigning tasks according to business needs and timelines.</li><li>Partner with the Sr. Manager of Web Experience to execute the website roadmap, including new features and optimizations.</li><li>Coordinate with our digital agency on AEM back-end development efforts, ensuring all work meets standards and delivery expectations.</li><li>Manage and execute deployments through Adobe Cloud Manager, including pipeline configuration, branch management, and environment promotion across dev, staging, and production.</li><li>Collaborate with design, content, analytics, and other cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality user experiences.</li><li>Serve as the internal AEM front-end subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end and AEM-related issues in partnership with back-end developers.</li><li>Support third-party integrations including marketing automation platforms, analytics, and API-driven content sources.</li></ul> What you´ll bring<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field—or equivalent experience.</li><li>5+ years of professional front-end development experience; previous senior or lead responsibilities preferred.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component development and the AEM authoring/publishing lifecycle.</li><li>Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager for CI/CD pipeline management, environment configuration, and deployment workflows.</li><li>Proficiency with Git, including managing multiple remotes, branch strategies, and resolving merge conflicts across internal and vendor repositories.</li><li>Proficiency in responsive design, mobile-first UI, and modern CSS architecture (Flexbox, Grid, BEM, SASS/SCSS, or similar).</li><li>Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous JavaScript patterns.</li><li>Understanding of front-end performance optimization (code splitting, lazy loading, Lighthouse audits, web vitals).</li><li>Familiarity with Webpack and related front-end build tooling.</li><li>Experience collaborating with external agencies and internal cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.</li></ul>#LI-JS2<h1>About us</h1>We’re a global team of innovators.
