Job Description – Civil / Road EngineeringWe are looking for a motivated Road Drainage Intern to join our team for a 3-month paid internship. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into how real-world international projects are delivered.This internship program is designed for students who are passionate about road and drainage engineering and want to gain practical experience in infrastructure design. As a Road / Drainage Engineering Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team working on real-life infrastructure projects and industrial/residential projects, including roads, highways, utilities and stormwater systems, while developing your technical and professional skills. You will support our engineers in day-to-day project activities, from design coordination and documentation to basic calculations and software use.What You’ll Do• Support engineers in the design and analysis of roadways, highways, and drainage systems. • Contribute to road layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and drainage drawings using tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D. • Learn to use design and analysis software such as Civil 3D. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including urban planners, geotechnical engineers, and environmental specialists. • Gain exposure to relevant design standards and guidelines.What You’ll Gain• Hands-on experience working on real projects. • Mentorship from experienced engineers. • Practical knowledge of industry tools, workflows, and standards. • Insight into the full lifecycle of transportation and drainage project design and construction. • A valuable addition to your CV and potential future career opportunities.Qualifications• Students currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. • Strong interest in road design and drainage systems. • Basic knowledge of engineering principles. • Familiarity with AutoCAD (Civil 3D or similar tools is a plus). • Strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
