Are you ready to lead a talented team and shape the future of Renewables?We are looking to add a Senior/Principal 3D Modeller to our Renewable energy team.You will provide full Civil 3D modelling support across the Renewables Business Unit, providing methodologies and procedures where necessary. You will work independently using an already established understanding of civil engineering and best practices, to provide meaningful input to the design process. Working in conjunction with a broad spectrum of experience levels, across multiple disciplines as part of the iterative design process.You will be producing, reviewing and ensuring they meet project deliverables and contain the necessary level of detail as required for:<ul><li>Pre-feasibility </li><li>Concept design</li><li>Tender</li><li>Estimation</li><li>Detailed design / construction.</li></ul>What can we offer?Our Glasgow renewables team is currently managing modelling input on projects across the the UK. In the video you can see the Civil 3D modelling too!Job Duties include:Deliver: <ul><li>Carry out earthwork design and analysis primarily with tracks / roads / intersections / laydown construction areas, volumes analysis and drainage.</li><li>Process, annotate, and present design data as project deliverables.</li><li>Document Control.</li></ul>Provide Expertise:<ul><li>Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Experience in producing construction details / technical drawings.</li><li>Have knowledge, or implementation of ISO19650 framework.</li></ul>Mentoring: <ul><li>Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a design team of varied levels of experience.</li><li>Provide and receive candid and constructive feedback with team members.</li><li>Liaise with internal and external design teams.</li></ul>Additional Key Activities:<ul><li>Operate CAD software for internal and external meetings and Presentations.</li><li>Process CAD data for use with other software platforms.</li><li>Adhere to client and AECOM CAD standards during all CAD activities.</li></ul>Outputs/Deliverables:<ul><li>Dynamic 3D models using AutoCAD Civil 3D.</li><li>Design drafting deliverables using AutoCAD suite.</li><li>Presentation material for project bids and design reviews.</li></ul>Come grow with us.We develop projects from concept through operation providing engineering and construction services for multiyear, multimillion-dollar projects for major rail and transit agencies.
