<h2>Overview</h2>What You’ll Be Doing Business Analyst acts as the liaison between compliance teams and technology units, gathering requirements, configuring, and testing AML/KYC/Sanctions systems to detect fraud. Business analyst functions include gathering requirements, performing ad hoc data queries and analysis, perming tests against requirements, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. You will also bring an understanding of financial regulations such as BSA/AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act. For more information, visit cadmusgroup.com.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Act as the liaison between compliance teams and technology units, gathering requirements, configuring, and testing AML/KYC/Sanctions systems to detect fraud.</li> <li>Translate business requirements to technical requirements including what data fields are required to satisfy business requirements, any data transformations, data quality checks, and all related activities to convert BRD to TRD.</li> <li>Documents the technical requirements and supplies them to developers.</li> <li>Analyze complex transactional data, identify patterns, and document business processes/workflows.</li> <li>Conduct technical documentation including data lineage, data transformations, technical specs etc.</li> <li>Communicate well with all stakeholders – business line, model developers, software developers, middle management – at regular intervals.</li> <li>Work under the direction of team leader.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a relevant area of study and between 5 years and 7 years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Documents the technical requirements and supplies them to developers.</li> <li>Ability to analyze complex transactional data, identify patterns, and document business processes/workflows.</li> <li>Excellent technical writing skills. Someone who is comfortable documenting data lineage, data transformations, technical specs etc.</li> <li>Proficient in Python, PySpark, and SQL.</li> <li>Individuals should be able to communicate well with all stakeholders – business line, model developers, software developers, middle management.</li> <li>Understanding of financial regulations such as BSA/AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act is desired but not necessary.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Suite applications.</li></ul>Additional Information: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen. Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs. The minimum starting salary for this position is $70,000.
