About The Role We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join as Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance department. The Senior Accountant will perform a wide range of accounting duties as part of the team and autonomously within the Finance and Accounting team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining an accurate general ledger, preparing financial statements, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues, as well as reviewing work performed by other staff. Core Responsibilities<ul><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Assist with the preparation, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Perform key month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, revenue invoicing, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and variance analyses. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Ensure operating project billings, expenses, and related accruals are recorded timely and accurately each month. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations across multiple entities. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Support project accounting and capitalization activities, including construction and development costs, fixed asset additions, and placed-in-service activity. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Prepare financial reporting, compliance deliverables, and audit support for tax equity investors, lenders, banks, external auditors, and other third parties. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Identify and support process improvements, automation tools, and AI agents to enhance accounting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, FP&amp;A, Asset Management, Development, and other teams to support cash management, debt activity, reporting, and operational accounting needs. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Perform ad hoc projects and support other departments with financial information as needed. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Comply with all esVolta LP policies and procedures. </li></ul> Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">4-7 years of experience in accounting or related field required. Experience in the renewable energy industry is strongly preferred.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field required.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Hands-on experience with accounting software packages (experience with Sage Intacct is a plus but not a requirement).</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-left:8px;">Experience with multi-entity structures.
