AECOM is seeking an experienced Data Center professional with a strong track record in delivering complex, mission critical facilities. The candidate will bring over 20 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to data centre projects, and hold a valid Uptime ATD certification. The role requires deep technical expertise, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to lead projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of data centre projects across all phases</li><li>Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier standards and oversee alignment with ATD principles</li><li>Manage multidisciplinary teams including design consultants, contractors, and vendors</li><li>Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and risk management frameworks</li><li>Drive quality assurance and ensure adherence to international standards and best practices</li><li>Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved</li><li>Monitor construction progress and resolve technical and operational issues proactively</li><li>Lead commissioning activities, testing, and handover processes for mission critical systems</li><li>Provide technical guidance on MEP systems, redundancy, resilience, and operational efficiency</li><li>Support business development activities, including proposals and technical presentations where required</li></ul>Key Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 20 years of experience in engineering, construction, or project management</li><li>At least 5 years of hands on experience delivering data centre projects</li><li>Mandatory Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) certification</li><li>Strong understanding of Tier I to Tier IV data centre standards and design principles</li><li>Proven experience managing large scale, mission critical infrastructure projects</li><li>Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including power, cooling, and redundancy configurations</li><li>Experience in managing contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage project risk, cost, and schedule effectively</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills</li></ul>
