You’ll lead customer-facing teams across operations and fleet planning, customer service, logistics, and invoicing, with overall accountability for optimising the customer experience across North Asia.Power without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.               What you’ll do as Hire Desk and Logistics Team Leader:<ul><li>Deliver efficient operational deployment through proactive planning and effective quality management of hire activities.</li><li>Work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, maintain high service standards, and uphold the company’s commitment to outstanding customer service, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. </li><li>Maximize customer value by optimizing end-to-end operational activities, including hire desk operations, fleet, logistics and billing </li><li>Strengthening cross-functional and cross-country collaboration, removing organizational barriers and fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture </li><li>Lead and manage the Hire Desk team, ensuring customer experience standards and key touchpoint outcomes are consistently achieved and improved </li></ul>You are:<ul><li>A hands on professional, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a hire desk and logistics role and a strong understanding of end-to-end operational execution  </li><li>Strongly capable of making quality decisions under rapidly changing conditions, with clear accountability for frontline operational performance  </li><li>Highly accurate with great attention to detail in contract management, billing, and KPI operations, with the ability to drive process improvements through ERP systems  </li><li>Skilled to an advanced level in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and data-driven performance analysis  </li><li>An excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with global and regional stakeholders while prioritizing customer value and speed of execution </li><li>Team Leadership experience would be advantageous but is not essential</li><li>Knowledge of trade regulations across the region is highly desirable </li></ul>Here’s what you’ll get:<ul><li>Hybrid working – 3 days in the office (Chiba OR Chiba and Tokyo) and 2 days from home</li><li>Competitive compensation and annual bonus</li><li>Paid training programs and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Safety-focused culture</li><li>Community volunteering program</li><li>A range of career development opportunities</li></ul>Our people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
