Bring your energy to Aggreko as Applications Engineer - Power based in Dubai .  You will be responsible for preparation of project-specific designs and supporting technical documentation for inclusion in sales bids, detailed design phases, and operational projects. Coordinate engineering input across the team and provide expert technical support across project stakeholders.               What you’ll do as Applications Engineer - Power: <ul><li>Liaise with client’s technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify project needs.</li><li>Advise Sales team on project specific design issues and propose engineering solutions.</li><li>Design power packages to suit project needs and maximize use of Aggreko fleet products.</li><li>Design the specification of specialist electrical equipment in conjunction with ME Engineering team.</li><li>Perform power system studies such as load flow, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop analysis.</li><li>Ensure design complies with relevant codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, local regulations)</li><li>Preparation of project shop drawings (single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and other detailed drawing required for project execution) using CAD software.</li><li>Preparation of Project Design Pack documentation for inclusion in sales proposals.</li><li>Gives engineering assistance as required to Operational Projects.</li><li>Prepare project documentation, bill of materials, and as-built drawings.</li><li>Collaborate with Engineering Team on design support requirements for the complete project life cycle.</li><li>Aggreko places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection.
