Expect to wear many hats and to work on problems that are mission-critical to the business day in and day out.</p><p style="">In this role, you will</p><ul style=""><li><p style="">build tools and systems that power our operations,</p></li><li><p style="">drive improved efficiency and performance in our power trading unit with data-backed analysis, and</p></li><li><p style="">own projects that support new market growth and rapid scaling of our power trading unit</p></li></ul><p style="">As an early hire in this role, you’ll have broad impact over our operations platforms, information systems, and team culture.</p><p style=""></p><h1>We’re excited about you because:</h1><ul style=""><li><p style="">You have 4+ years experience in operations, product or strategy in a fast-paced environment such as a high-growth tech company; management consulting; investment banking; private equity.</p></li><li><p style=""><strong>You are highly analytical:</strong> You can take an ambiguous challenge, break it down clearly, and design a path forward. You think in frameworks without being rigid, and you move from insight to action quickly.</p></li><li><p style=""><strong>You have proficiency with Python</strong> and one or more common analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc.</p></li><li><p style=""><strong>You are detail oriented:</strong> You measure twice and cut once, ensuring work products have zero defect.</p></li><li><p style=""><strong>You are an excellent communicator:</strong> As well as solving problems, you can communicate your thinking to various stakeholder audiences who may have divergent points-of-view.</p></li><li><p style=""><strong>You have a builder mentality</strong> — You thrive in 0→1 environments. You operate effectively under ambiguity, move with urgency, and are motivated by creating something new, not optimizing something that already exists.
