The successful candidate will support the Engineering Department, working at both a pcb component level and full product assembly, assisting in the smooth development and delivery of new products. They should be able to communicate clearly with all members of the engineering team. Strong organisational skills are important, as is an eye for detail and a good standard of hand-eye coordination.This job is for you if you have an excellent eye for detail, can multitask on more than one design at a time, like working in a dynamic fast-moving environment and get satisfaction seeing the completed product in the shops and on boats in and around the water.Your job<ul><li>You will be working within the engineering department supporting all aspects of product development.</li></ul>This will encompass: -<ul><li>Printed Circuit Board (PCB) re-work, predominantly Surface Mount Devices (SMD), utilizing soldering equipment, microscopes and other specialised re-work tools.</li><li>Ability to use basic test equipment e.g. digital multimeters, bench power supplies and oscilloscopes.</li><li>Ability to understand circuit schematics, so that specific components can be correctly identified when carrying out PCB rework, and to use additional tools such as a PCB design platform.</li><li>Assembly and Disassembly of Raymarine products, requiring the use of various hand tools (including torque equipment) and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings.</li><li>Product testing, occasionally working in the Environmental Test area, using facilities such as thermal chambers and water ingress test.</li></ul>To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have: -<ul><li>Excellent collaboration and communication skills. </li><li>Willing to work with the team in the office 4 days a week.</li><li>Fluent in English, both verbal and written.</li></ul>What Teledyne FLIR &amp; Raymarine offers you: -·Opportunity to develop your career with one of the leading marine electronics companies.·A unique opportunity to experience product development, as we do our own research, development, and manufacturing.·Friendly culture with a focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity.·A fair compensation structure and benefits.Interested?
