Responsibilities<ul><li>Assemble according to specifications.</li><li>Master basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and / or equipment in area of expertise.</li><li>Assist others during assembly of components in area of expertise.</li><li>Teach other Assemblers proper techniques and procedures for mastered key subassemblies</li><li>Complete required assembly documentation, check sheets, ECRs, MRRs and material movement paperwork</li><li>Resolve routine questions and problems in mastered subassemblies. Refers more complex issues to Group Team Leads</li><li>Use material handling equipment to move parts, components, and subassemblies from one work or storage area to another as required</li><li>Perform all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. Practices good housekeeping in work area</li><li>Assist more experienced Assemblers as assigned</li><li>•May be asked to perform team support roles to assist Supervisor</li><li>Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities</li><li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion</li></ul> Qualifications Education and Experience<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Technical / vocational / or military training or related experience is helpful</li><li>Typically has 6 months mechanical experience with the possibility of gaining through on the job training</li><li>Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment</li></ul>
