Asset Management plays a key role in ensuring employees have the right devices and subscriptions to do their work while keeping everything tracked, compliant, and up to date.</p><p>In this internship, you will support the lifecycle of IT assets such as laptops, phones, tablets, peripherals, and mobile/SIM subscriptions. You’ll learn how assets are ordered, assigned, updated, returned, and audited, especially as employees join, move roles, or leave the company.</p><p>You’ll collaborate with teams including IT Support, HR, Logistics, Procurement, and international IT colleagues (including the US IT team). This is a great opportunity for a student who is organized, curious, and interested in IT operations, hardware, or process-driven work, and who wants hands-on experience in a professional, international environment.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p><ul><li>Support the day-to-day management of end-user IT assets across the EU region</li><li>Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for laptops, mobile devices, tablets, peripherals, and inventory</li><li>Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing, collecting, and returning IT devices</li><li>Assist with laptop ordering, reimaging, packing, and shipping</li><li>Help manage and track mobile devices and subscriptions</li><li>Send reminders and follow up with employees regarding returns, updates, or missing information</li><li>Document asset management processes and help ensure they are followed consistently</li><li>Work closely with stakeholders across departments and countries</li><li>Participate in alignment meetings with the US IT team</li></ul><p><strong>Internship project </strong></p><p>During the internship, you will take ownership of one defined Asset Management project, such as:</p><ul><li>Cleaning up and validating the existing EU asset inventory</li><li>Improving how IT assets are tracked and documented</li><li>Creating a structured overview/report of the asset lifecycle</li><li>Reviewing mobile subscriptions and identifying optimization opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>Tools &amp; ways of working</strong></p><ul><li>Daily use of Microsoft tools: Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint</li><li>Exposure to an IT asset management and/or ticketing system (training provided)</li><li>In-person work from the Amsterdam office</li></ul><p><strong>What we’re looking for</strong></p><ul><li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor (HBO/WO) in IT, Information Management, Business IT &amp; Management, Computer Science, or a related field</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English</li><li>Comfortable interacting with employees, stakeholders, and new joiners</li><li>Well-organized, detail-oriented, and reliable</li><li>Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks</li><li>Able to understand processes quickly and follow them accurately</li><li>Interest in IT operations, asset management, inventory, or logistics</li><li>Comfortable working independently after initial onboarding</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with any ticketing or asset management system (e.g., ServiceNow or similar)</li><li>Basic understanding of hardware lifecycle (imaging, shipping, inventory tracking)</li><li>Strong Excel skills (e.g., filters, pivots, data cleanup)</li><li>Interest in process improvement and documentation</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll gain</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience in IT Asset Management within a European organization</li><li>Exposure to global collaboration across EU and US IT teams</li><li>A structured understanding of IT onboarding/offboarding and asset lifecycle management</li><li>Ownership of meaningful operational responsibilities and a defined project</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, international IT environment</li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div><p><em>Lucid Motors is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment.
