AECOM is seeking a Traffic Monitoring Specialist / Dispatcher / Call Center to be based in Detroit, MI. This is for an overnight shift (9pm - 5am) with weekends and some holiday hours required.Position Details:<ul><li>Position is based out of client location near downtown Detroit, MI.</li><li>Updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic events and congestion with devices such as closed-circuit camera TV systems/ cameras, detectors, etc.</li><li>Act like an emergency dispatcher within a call center environment dispatching responders via a two-way radio system to assist motorists, respond to events and other activities that require timely and efficient responses.</li><li>Perform data entry functions.</li><li>Ability to fluently work in multiple PC applications simultaneously.</li><li>Possess exceptional organizational skills to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in real time and in potentially serious situations.</li><li>Possess exceptional communications skills both in written &amp; verbal forms to effectively receive, document &amp; relay information from numerous sources.</li><li>Works under direct supervision performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, examples, and results from computer systems.</li><li>Perform critical thinking functions and assessments and make decisions based upon circumstances.</li><li>24/7/365 Environment</li></ul>
