The Senior Demo Consultant is a strategic engineering and architectural leader within the Demo Operations team. In this role, you will be a "force multiplier" for the global presales organization. You will architect, engineer, and automate the highly complex, data-forward master demo environments (such as our flagship Avikro footprint) that empower our field Solution Consultants to seamlessly tell Workiva’s multi-solution story. You will be a key part of helping the team shift demo operations away from reactive, custom-built trial requests and toward proactive, highly scalable asset development.<h2>What You’ll Do</h2><ul><li>Lead major demo environment overhauls and architect "Gold Standard" multi-solution demo footprints</li><li>Utilize advanced technical capabilities, including Python scripting, Workiva Chains, and complex API integrations, to build automated, data-forward demo environments that refresh efficiently</li><li>Design and implement AI-powered workflows to optimize demo build and QA cycle times, and embed Workiva's native AI capabilities directly into master demo narratives</li><li>Identify patterns in internal ticketing requests to transition team workload from reactive fixes to the creation of scalable, self-service assets</li><li>Design and enforce clear Proof-of-Concept (POC) guidelines and technical boundaries for field SCs to follow when standard demos require customization</li><li>Collaborate with Product Management to ensure new product features are engineered into master demo environments prior to broad release, and provide structured technical feedback regarding demo friction</li><li>Serve as a technical lead and resource for the Demo Consulting team, driving knowledge-sharing around complex environments, advanced troubleshooting, and automation</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>What You’ll Need</h2>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience in Demo Operations or Application Development with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years with a PhD</li><li>Hands-on technical experience with cloud technologies, API integrations, and scripting languages (such as Python) to build robust, automated data environments</li><li>Practical experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., prompt engineering, AI-driven workflow automation) and CI/CD technologies (continuous integration/continuous deployment) to optimize build cycles, ensure environment stability, and accelerate time-to-market for demo assets</li></ul><h3></h3>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Deep understanding of data models, complex system integrations, data migration, and SaaS architectures. Experience with Workiva implementation is highly desired</li><li>Strong presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs and technical capabilities into highly consumable, value-driven demo experiences</li><li>Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives to transition projects from bespoke builds to globally scalable solutions</li><li>Self-motivated with a strong bias toward action, measurable results, and continuous operational improvement</li></ul>Travel Requirements &amp; Working Conditions<ul><li>Up to 15% travel</li><li>Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, if not in a Workiva office</li></ul>How You’ll Be Rewarded✅ On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 156,000.00 - 253,000.00 USD Annual✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
