Join our Automation and OT Security department as our new Senior Automation and OT Security Engineer and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Senior Automation and OT Security Engineer you will be part of an exceptional global technical environment with 32 passionate colleagues. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector and the industry sector for projects around the world. The area of responsibility for this position is mainly industrial projects such as metals, chemicals and cement, and energy transition projects such as PtX plants, power generation, and gas infrastructure. The local energy business in Finland comprises 30 experts from different energy disciplines. Your position would be in the newly founded and growing Finnish Solutions for Industry team as one of the first specialists.Your key responsibilities will be:<ul><li>Act as a senior, trusted advisor to clients within industrial automation, control systems, and OT-related disciplines</li><li>Proactively engage with existing and new clients to identify needs, opportunities, and upcoming projects</li><li>Take lead or senior roles in projects across the automation and OT domain, depending on project needs</li><li>Represent the department externally at client meetings, workshops, and relevant industry events</li><li>Contribute to strengthening our market position within energy transition and complex industrial assets</li><li>Perform specification and design within automation and OT security</li></ul>About you<ul><li>A Bachelor’s- or Master’s degree in either Electrical Engineering, Electronic and computer, Information- and communication technology, or similar</li><li>You have significant experience (typically 8+ years) within industrial automation, control systems, or related disciplines</li><li>You enjoy client contact and feel confident engaging with stakeholders at different levels – from technical staff to project managers and asset owners</li><li>You are outgoing, curious, and relationship‑driven, with a natural ability to build trust</li><li>You can translate client needs into clear technical scopes and value‑adding solutions</li><li>You have experience related to some of these technical standards:<ul><li>OT Security (IEC 62443)</li><li>Functional Safety (IEC 61508/61511)</li><li>Alarm management (IEC 62682, ISA-18.2)</li><li>Communication networks and protocols (IEC 61850)</li><li>Distributed industrial‑process measurement and control (IEC 61499)</li></ul></li><li>Excellent communication skills in Finnish are a must</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English are a must</li></ul>What we can offer you<ul><li>Commitment to your development</li><li>Leaders guided by our Leadership Principles</li><li>A culture that welcomes you as the unique person you are</li><li>Inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects</li><li>The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company</li></ul>Ready to join us?Please submit your application and CV online.
