You will work on projects primarily across Southeast Asia and may support international assignments through Ramboll’s global centres of excellence.Typical assignments include:<ul><li>Leading Electrical, Instrumentation &amp; Controls workstreams in Owner’s Engineer projects</li><li>Reviewing technical documentation from EPC contractors, OEMs, and technology providers</li><li>Providing technical advisory to lenders, investors, and asset owners (due diligence, risk assessments, CAPEX/OPEX benchmarking)</li><li>Supporting feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, and technology evaluations</li><li>Overseeing electrical and control system scope during construction, commissioning, and performance testing</li><li>Acting as Lead Engineer for EIC discipline in multidisciplinary project setups</li></ul>Regional ImpactThis role contributes to the accelerating demand for reliable, sustainable energy and waste infrastructure in Southeast Asia. We value curiosity, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership.KPIs and Success MetricsSuccess in this role will be measured by:<ul><li>High‑quality delivery of EIC engineering outputs</li><li>Effective coordination within multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Positive client feedback and recurring engagements</li><li>Contributions to Ramboll’s technical leadership in the region</li></ul>Travel and Client EngagementThe role may involve travel across Southeast Asia for technical reviews, site inspections, FAT/SAT, stakeholder engagements, and client meetings, depending on project needs.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead EIC engineering activities across feasibility, FEED, design review, construction, and commissioning</li><li>Oversee electrical systems review: SLDs, protection coordination, grounding/earthing, MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers</li><li>Review and validate I&amp;C and automation systems: DCS/PLC architecture, control logic, instrumentation design, SCADA</li><li>Provide Owner’s Engineer support including design clarifications, technical queries, FAT/SAT attendance, site inspections, commissioning review</li><li>Support technical advisory engagements covering due diligence, risk assessments, and plant performance evaluation</li><li>Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil/structural, environmental and commercial teams across Ramboll offices</li><li>Support tender evaluations, vendor assessments, and technology benchmarking</li><li>Prepare technical reports, assessment notes, and recommendations</li><li>Engage with grid authorities, regulators, and statutory bodies in Singapore or Malaysia</li></ul>
