The role ensures products and components move to the right locations at the right time while defining and continuously optimizing the total network cost of transportation and logistics.</p><p>Serving as the company’s key logistics subject matter expert, this position builds and manages critical partner relationships across the logistics ecosystem and provides guidance on import, export, customs, tariffs, legal, and HSE requirements to support compliant global operations. The role also influences broader business decisions by recommending sourcing and inventory strategies, advising product design teams on transportation cost optimization, and partnering with executive leadership on risk, capital spend, and organizational growth.</p></div><br><br><h3>Your Mission:</h3><ul><div><li>Gain deep understanding of our renewable energy storge industry, our products and technology, our processes, and our people.</li><li>Define and implement a logistics strategy for the company that aligns the needs of internal stakeholders with project and customer requirements and maximizes the efficient movement of products and materials</li><li>Oversee the warehousing, inventory flow, and inbound and outbound transportation activities across domestic and international shipments</li><li>Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.</li><li>Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers and recommend optimal transport modes, routes, and performance metrics</li><li>Influence the product design and packaging to ensure transportation costs are minimized.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process.</li><li>Ensure compliance with transportation and trade requirements and maintain adherence to international trade regulations, tariffs, HTS classifications, and export requiremenets</li><li>Shape a culture of collaboration, innovation, constant improvement, excellence, transparency, open mindedness, humility, integrity, efficiency, joy, compassion, and fulfillment.</li></div></ul><h3>Your Background:</h3><ul><li>BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related; MS preferred.</li><li>7+ years of global transportation and logistics experience, preferably in industrial construction, utilities, energy, or similar.</li><li>Shrewd negotiation skills and keen ability to balance cost savings with relationship management.</li><li>Expert knowledge of technical and legal requirements associated with import and export regulations, globally, with specific experience in Australia, NA, Europe, the Middle East, and China. Energy Vault SA offers an energy storage technology utilizing fundamental principles of science to deliver a storage solution that's as compassionate to the planet as it is efficient to build and operate. The Energy Vault solution utilizes the same fundamentals of physics and kinetic energy as pumped hydro but replaces the water with custom made cylindrical blocks utilizing an extremely innovative use of low-cost materials. The system is modular and can be designed with a capacity of between 10 and 35MWh and a power output of up to 5MW. The system has been designed for a 30+ year life with no degradation in storage capacity.
