Role PurposeThe Assistant Manager / Sr. Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities across Marketing, Sales, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences &amp; Exhibitions) categories. The role requires strong expertise in vendor management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and cost optimization, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and delivering value to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Marketing Procurement: Manage sourcing for Print, Media buying, BTL activities – OOH, Signanges, Wall/Bus Painting etc &amp; advertising, digital campaigns, creative agencies, media buying, and promotional materials.</li><li>Sales Procurement: Support procurement of sales enablement tools, POSM, events, sponsorships, and customer engagement programs.</li><li>MICE Procurement: Lead sourcing for corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and incentive travel programs, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.</li><li>Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, evaluate vendor performance, and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, service-level agreements, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.</li><li>Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for savings, process improvements, and value creation across categories.</li><li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and corporate functions to align procurement strategies with business objectives.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Governance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, risk management frameworks, and audit requirements.</li></ul>Required Experience &amp; Skills<ul><li>Marketing &amp; Sales Category Expertise: Minimum 3–8 years of procurement experience with proven exposure to Marketing, Sales, and MICE categories.</li><li>Strategic Sourcing: Strong background in sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, and competitive bidding.</li><li>Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze spend data, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.</li><li>Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and managing complex supplier agreements.</li><li>Project Management: Experience in managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.</li><li>Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li><li>Technology Tools: Familiarity with procurement platforms, ERP systems, and digital sourcing tools.</li></ul>Desired Attributes<ul><li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.</li><li>Strong business acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, and speed.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>Commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability practices.</li></ul>
