The Supply &amp; Inventory Professional will have a leading role in defining an integrated supply chain that will produce sustained on time delivery performance, targeted customer lead time breakthroughs and optimized financial results. The Supply &amp; Inventory Professional is part of the SIOP team within Sensata’s Operations organization and is an individual who has a proven Business Operations background to run the Supply &amp; Inventory processes. The Senior Supply &amp; Inventory Professional is working in a global environment and supports the production plants and SIOP functions to identify optimization initiatives. All actions lead to continuous improvement and standardization of the Supply Chain landscape.General Responsibilities • Create processes and methods to gather and report on supply chain data; identifying problematic areas and suggest improvements • Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and may suggest improvements or resolutions to problems • Development of internal reports to present key insights from the data • Maintaining and improving existing data analysis tools, reports, and business processe • Develop and quantify supply chain solutions to improve capabilities / reduce costs • Create strategies to improve the item level customer forecasts, inventory turns, and instocks • Drive continuous improvement in the internal forecasting / supply process to optimize working capital while meeting customer goals • Develop positive working relationships with internal and external partners Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal &amp; collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customersSkills Required | Critical Competencies<ul><li>Business priority setting — A hands-on approach to Supply and Inventory planning with the ability to communicate at all levels in the business and appreciate day-to-day issues. Helps to create energy and enthusiasm in the Supply and Inventory planning process.</li><li>Process and Data Orientation — Clearly understands a high volume of data and is able to interpret and present to support decision making.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is highly preferred</li><li>Experience Level:<ul><li>Mid-Level: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, procurement, finance or other data-sensitive functions; OR Master’s degree with relevant internship or project experience</li><li>Senior-Level: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in global supply chain; OR Master’s degree with minimum 2+ years of relevant experience. Previous experience in planning and/or procurement is an advantage</li></ul></li><li>Advanced Planning System experience preferred (Oracle, SAP, Blue Yonder, Logility, etc.)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel with rigorous data logic and strong sensitivity to data structuring and analysis.
