Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Design and implement flexible automated systems for use assembly processes.</li><li>Design automated inspection and assembly stations.</li><li>Work with multidisciplinary teams to determine automation opportunities and solutions for project needs.</li><li>Support existing automation and tooling as well as identifying improvement opportunities.</li><li>Recommend and implement improvements, modifications or additions to document work.</li><li>Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.</li><li>Ensure Machine requirements are specified, documented and all critical process controls are managed.  </li><li>Prioritize safety and ergonomics in designs.</li><li>Will assist in writing and execution of equipment specifications and Installation Qualification protocols as well as supporting all validation activities.</li><li>Interface with Machine shop to ensure design intent is met and propose new fabrication methods for unmet needs.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.</li><li>8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in robotic, Vision systems, and automation.</li><li>Proficient with using 3-D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).</li><li>Proficient with PLC/HMI programing and setup.</li><li>Knowledge of IOT and machine connectivity methods.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience with PLC and HMI setup including Allen Bradley, Omron and other processors.</li><li>Proficient with using Electrical drawing software.</li><li>Arc flash and LOTO training</li><li>Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.</li><li>MES and Machine data integration experience.</li><li>CMSE</li></ul>‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
