Job DescriptionThe Senior Associate / Vice President role presents an opportunity to originate, structure, and execute private infrastructure investments, primarily focused on flexible capital, unitranche, high-yield, preferred equity, and mezzanine capital. This role is ideally suited for a self-motivated individual seeking a dynamic work environment. They will (i) source and screen new investment opportunities with senior management; (ii) perform due diligence including operational, financial, valuation and industry analyses; (ii) review / build detailed financial models including working with associates and analysts on the team to prepare underwriting cases and investment committee material; (iv) structure and execute term sheets and financing documents; and (vi) monitor existing portfolio investments.Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Collaborate in a flat, flexible and team-oriented environment that promotes growth and mentoring.</li><li>Develop investment theses, value creation strategies, and lead transaction structuring.</li><li>Spearhead due diligence and coordinate with operational, legal, tax, and internal teams to underwrite business cases.</li><li>Prepare and present materials for investment committees</li><li>Prepare key documents such as bid letters and term sheets.</li><li>Network and research industry trends to identify new investment opportunities and strategies.</li><li>Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and analysis.</li><li>Participate in special projects and contribute to a positive team culture.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>6-10+ years of investment banking or related experience, ideally in infrastructure, energy, direct investing or credit.</li><li>Skilled in economic, financial, and data analysis; including discounted cash flows, financial statements, economics, equity valuation, and modeling</li><li>Quick learner with strong attention to detail; effective multi-tasker in fast-paced settings</li><li>Strong communication, relationship management and presentation skills</li><li>Effective use of internal/external resources; hands-on approach to managing tasks</li><li>Strong risk management, judgement, and fiduciary responsibility; self-motivated with an owner-operator mindset</li></ul>Salary: $280k - $350kOur compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
