Grow here.At AECOM, we’re currently recruiting a Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in Dublin.This is a key leadership role where you’ll provide commercial and contractual expertise across major projects, supporting delivery from tender stage through to final account.What you’ll doYour day-to-day responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:<ul><li>Ensure full alignment with the Contracting Entity’s contract management standards, confirming compliance with the selected contract suite (e.g. NEC) and overall programme requirements.</li><li>Provide assurance that contract administration activities comply fully with contractual terms and contract management standards, identifying, managing, and reporting any instances of non-compliance.</li><li>Manage and develop effective commercial relationships with contractors and consultants, promoting collaborative ways of working and continuous improvement in the delivery of works and services.</li><li>Review and advise on draft contracts to ensure they are fit for purpose and appropriately tailored to individual projects, coordinating input from legal, technical, and financial advisors as required.</li><li>Lead contractual negotiations and provide commercial and contractual guidance to project managers, service managers, and programme directors.</li><li>Review and approve subcontractors and subcontract documentation in accordance with contractual requirements.</li><li>Certify payments, including detailed assessment of defined costs under NEC Option C and Option E contracts.</li><li>Audit contractors’ and consultants’ accounts to ensure costs are accurately recorded and claimed in line with the contract.</li><li>Review cost forecasts prepared by contractors or consultants and assess pain/gain share mechanisms for NEC Option C and Option D contracts.</li><li>Undertake delay damages assessments and calculations where required.</li><li>Develop and implement category- and programme-level contract management strategies, and review and approve individual contract management plans.</li><li>Set KPI targets within NEC incentive schedules and monitor contractor and consultant performance against agreed measures.</li><li>Establish and maintain KPI libraries for assigned categories and programmes.</li><li>Review and approve performance evaluations for contractors and consultants, and oversee the development and implementation of performance improvement plans where required.</li><li>Build, manage, and support a team of contract administrators, fostering strong collaboration across the wider project team.</li><li>Review compensation event submissions, including early warning notifications and quotations, and provide recommendations to the project manager and/or service manager.</li><li>Review applications for payment to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.</li><li>Provide assurance of RFI and RFT tender documentation, including conditions of contract, amendments, and Contracting Entity–specific Z clauses.</li><li>Provide oversight and assurance of tendering and evaluation processes through to the appointment of contractors and consultants.</li></ul>
