Job DescriptionThe Analyst, Data Management is responsible for ensuring the completeness, reliability, and controls of investment-related data and records. This information is relied upon by the Investments, Accounting, Risk, and Legal teams to support reporting, compliance, and decision-making.  The role involves maintaining data quality, implementing control processes, coordinating updates across systems, and ensuring that information is consistent, timely, and aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, strengthen reporting capabilities, and enhance data management workflows.Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee the execution and maintenance of business and control processes that ensure security master records are properly established, maintained, and delivered to relevant stakeholders in a complete, reliable, and timely manner.</li><li>Supports the identification and resolution of business process gaps that hinder the Operation’s team from delivering reliable daily security master reference data.</li><li>Collaborates with other teams to assess and prioritize data needs and deficiencies and communicates with senior management to ensure requirements are addressed and gaps are resolved in a timely and effective manner.</li><li>Contributes to cross-functional and organization-wide initiatives, such as Aladdin MVP, focused on enhancing the overall quality of security data.</li><li>Partners with internal teams and external auditors to enhance the design and effectiveness of existing control frameworks, and to recommend and implement additional controls where necessary.</li><li>Executes additional tasks and responsibilities as required.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) with at least two years of relevant experience.</li><li>Experience with order management systems (e.g., Aladdin), data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv), reconciliation tools (e.g., DUCO), and accounting systems (e.g., Clearwater).</li><li>Knowledge of private assets, fixed income, and structured products is preferred.</li><li>Experienced in handling and organizing large volumes of data.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Macros, to analyze and manipulate data efficiently.</li><li>Understands regulatory-driven asset classification and its impact on rating and reporting processes</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with a proven ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.</li><li>Detail-oriented and analytical, skilled at reviewing data, solving practical problems, and drawing accurate conclusions.</li><li>Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SQL, and the preparation of reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.</li></ul>Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 CADPosition Opening Reason:New PositionBrookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.  Accordingly, we do not tolerate workplace discrimination, violence or harassment.Brookfield is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
